When it rains, you get wet.

Thinking it was a sunny day, I wore my khaki pants. I was so proud of myself because school’s almost over and there no dirt, not even a speck of dust, on my pants. I was supposed to go home around 4pm because my last class did not push through. It was only a student-teacher evaluation. But I had to wait up to 5pm because one of my teachers said that he’ll return our checked papers and problem sets at that time. So I waited and read some book chapters at the library while waiting for the time. I noticed the dark clouds by then and I was praying that it wouldn’t rain. Around 5pm he gave it to me and I quickly went home.

When I got near my stop, the heavy rain started to pour down. By the time I got home, I was completely drenched. Argh! My khaki pants, my shoes, my socks… all soaking wet! >_<

Good news, my paper was given a perfect score. Heh. I had a silly grin while I was looking at it. My teacher said it was one of the best papers he had ever seen. *blushes* To think I only made that paper in 6 hours. Woohoo! The powers of technology! If he looked at the websites I cited in my references, he’d see that I only copied and pasted the info on my paper. (Of course, I had other sources like books but the internet was my main reference.) Thanks to wikipedia! :P By the way, I don’t know if he noticed it but I accidentally switched the 2nd and 3rd pages. So the pages were like 1, 3, 2, and so on. Makes me think if he really read my paper. ^^;

On other things, I haven’t been very active here lately because I was busy. You know, sometimes RL can keep you off the pc for a long time. Plus the fact that writing sort of became a tedious task. ^^;

Notable things from the previous weeks:
August 25
- Laundry day! I was able to help out at the nick of time. I kind-of fell asleep on the job but I was able to make up for it when I woke up. :D
- ERG Night, I got to the wrong place. I went to Kowloon West but the party was actually held at Kowloon East. Ooof! I could have been there a bit earlier if there was no mix-up in the directions. The party was okay, it’s the first time I saw Joma’s talents. Very entertaining! Hehehe... I was also able to dance! Yeah! ;)

August 26
- Aragorn learned how to lie down. I taught him for only three days! Very smart dog… I love him soooo much! *chu*

August 31
- Mom finally bought me a 512MB USB disk. Yay! Special thanks to Kuya Edong because he was the one who looked and bought it from CD-R King at Gilmore. Kuya you rock!

September 2
- MatE121 exam, I studied a few hours before the exam. I felt really crappy that day. I wasn’t in the mood to study. =_=
- After the exam, I went to the mall with Mommy because I had to buy some school supplies and 17. We also bought a few groceries. ;)

September 3
- While looking out the screen door, I saw Aragorn and he was looking sooooo cute! I quickly opened the door and stepped out. Then heard a loud crunch under my left foot, at first I didn’t mind it but when I looked where my foot landed. I saw a lizard, crushed under my foot! Gahhh! Yuck! Ewww! I was screaming while I was saying, “Mommy I stepped on a lizard! Yuckkkkk!!!” Our neighbor heard me and he shouted back, “Durog na yan!” (Ehehe.. can’t find the appropriate English term :P)

September 4
- My groupmates in MatE111 told me about the apprenticeship that would help me in getting a topic when for my thesis next year. They said there was an announcement in the department about the application. When I saw the announcement, the deadline for application was on August 31. Oh no! I asked Ate Zhen if I could still pass my resumé and she said I could ask Mam Candy. When I asked Mam if I could still apply, she quickly said okay. She even told me that I could start on Tuesday or whenever I’m free. Yay! I’m an apprentice!
- During the discussion of polymers, something jumped on my arm. I looked at it and gave a loud yelp in surprise! There was a spider on my arm and in my surprise I brushed it off while making a shrill noise. Gahhh! Everyone in the class looked at me, it was so embarrassing! I could only muster a sheepish grin and say “Mam, I’m sorry! There was a spider!” All my classmates laughed at it and my teacher was even concerned about me asking if I’m all right. I could only smile from embarrassment. *hides*

September 5
- I passed my resumé after waiting for 3 hours because Mam Candy had to go to the OUR. She said the orientation would be at 1pm the next day. Hmm… okay.
- I went to the EEE department to ask for mp3s from Ivy. I got a lot of songs… yay! I asked her if I could come tomorrow for more. Since she’s going to stay overnight at DSP, she said yes. Hehe…

September 6
- I went to school around 11:45pm, a little late for my make-up class but the teacher came around 12noon so it was okay. After the class, I quickly went to the department for my orientation. To my surprise, they held a faculty meeting and the teachers would only be available after 2:30pm. Ack! I had to wait until the meeting is finished, so I went to SC to buy some lunch and snacks. Then I stopped by the ERG interview to look at the applicant, Mark. He didn’t know me, and I didn’t give my name. Hah! He should suffer for not knowing me. :P Anyway, I didn’t give him a hard time. I was even considerate enough to give him another chance to answer a question correctly. After that, I headed back to the department. When I got there around 2:30pm, the meeting wasn’t finished so I had to wait outside for about 15 minutes so they could wrap things up. Finally, when I talked to Mam Candz about the orientation, it turns out the person who was supposed to handle it didn’t go to school that day. I waited there for nothing! Argh >_<
- I went to EEE, just in time to catch Ivy before she went home. And yay! More mp3s! That made the day a whole lot better. :) Much love and hugs to Ivy! *mwahness*
