Currently feeling annoyed.

Wasn't able to...
  • go to the annual family retreat because I'm sick.
  • watch "Finding Nemo" until the end because I fell asleep.
  • cook because I don't know what I should cook for myself.
  • read my notes because I felt sleepy and my eyes hurt.
But I was able to...
  • get a new lovebird, it flew into our house and Daddy caught it.
  • give back Daddy's cellphone.
  • watch 7th Heaven all afternoon and loved it.
  • watch Toy Story and hugged all my toys.
  • eat lots and lots of candies, pastries and ice cream!!! XD
The new lovebird looks like the old one that flew away, but Mommy said it's a different bird. I called him "Barett" because he was hanging on the bars when Dad caught him. He's super cute! He wasn't afraid when I tried to touch him... Waaah! So cute~~~! ^o^

I'm using my old cellphone again. I gave back Daddy's phone because my credits seem to disappear whenever I put my sim there and I always worry that I'm going to break it or someone would steal it. At least with my own cellphone, I paid for that and I won't be blamed in case something happened. But what's good about the experience of having a new phone is that I got inspired to save up for my own phone. I'm going to buy myself a new one... hopefully sometime this year. (Or maybe I could get my Dad to buy me a new one before he leaves... :D)

What a way to waste a perfectly lazy Thursday...

This post has some excruciating details, so read at your own risk! :P

I woke up pretty early this morning. Surfed a bit and then went to the kitchen for breakfast. I looked outside the kitchen door and saw my two doggies looking at me and I felt compelled to let them free so I took off Eugene's leash and opened Luke's cage. And they both ran off running around aimlessly and pooping all over the place. My mom scolded me about it and said they'll make a mess of things and I said I'll just clean it up. The doggies looked so sad being cooped up in a corner, I just wanted them to have fun. I went inside and made a tuna sandwich. When I finished it I went back outside and played with the dogs. They were so energetic, especially Luke. I kept tugging his ears and he'd play like he was biting my arm off. (And of course it didn't hurt, actually it kinda tickled. :P) Eugene kept dancing around and showing off his moves while Luke kept on sabotaging his act by goofing around and jumping on him. Yeah. My dogs are pretty active. They run around and step on their poop and then when they see me, they jump right at me... with their pooped paws. ^^; I really don't mind. I just go inside and wash my hands and legs thoroughly. But when I come back outside (with clean hands) they jump at me... again. Poop and all.

Wow... that is the most number of times I've ever said poop in this blog. It feels weird. ^^;

Anyway, time passed by quickly. I went into my room and watched "Bad Boys" with my brother even though I've already seen it a couple of times. After that I listed a couple of things I want to accomplish this Holy Week and went to the kitchen for lunch. I stuffed myself until I was as big as a balloon. I ate corn, pinakbet, watermelons and mango ice cream for dessert! I love ice cream and I think I can live through my entire life with just eating ice cream, although I don't think I'd like to try that. XD

I finished cleaning up the kitchen (almost cut myself with a knife... I got a scratch though. ;_;) and went back into my room and started working on the list. First up was to read Physics. Oh darn, why does Physics have to be so long? I felt bored reading so I just switched the TV on and flipped through the channels. I found the perfect show, "Gilmore Girls". I forgot there was a marathon today and luckily I was able to catch it. I ate a lot of junk food while I was watching. I finished off a bag of Cracklings, a box of raisins, a pack of Snack Pie and a bunch of Haw-Haw candies. I skipped dinner because of the show and my mom was asking me if I wanted to go with them church-hopping for the station of the cross. I did that last year but this time I felt really lazy and just declined the offer. I thought I won't be alone at home, I didn't bother to know who else was coming along. I heard them leave and when the show finally ended, I got up. Lo and behold! I didn't find anyone else home. They left me all alone. I guess I should've gone with them... I didn't know I'd be all alone. *sighs*

So here I am, typing and thinking of getting another bag of chips from my closet. Oh yeah, I stuffed my closet full with chips, chocolates, and candies. I knew I'd find them handy today. *grabs a chocolate bar* Chocolate and ice cream are the best comfort food. ^_~

I'm feeling rather productive for tomorrow, let's hope that feeling lasts long enough for me to finish all the things I've got to do. :P

Inbetween reading and solving and ranting...

I finally created an animated gif. :P

From serious to funny and back... XD

These pictures were captured while I was doing Frank's listening test last March 7. See what happens when you leave me in a lab room unsupervised? XP I've spent more than a total of 10 hours for those tests. And my ears hurt afterwards. T_T

But it's nice to help Frank with his thesis. I hope his defense today went well. :)

Anyway, the songs that got stuck in my head today are "Against All Odds", "If I Let You Go", "Bulong" and "The Lonely Goatherd". Ack! Especially the last one... it got stuck in my head while I was solving the problems in the ME63 exam. Just imagine me, bopping my head and singing that song while looking at the tables... *sings "Lay ee odl lay ee odl lay hee hoo~!"* XD

I got frustated with today's exam. It's all because of that mistake of assuming too much. T_T And when I realized that I made a wrong assumption and tried to do everything again there was no more time. Shucks! And I could have gotten that problem... *whines*

I'm hungry. I haven't had dinner because... umm... I was busy watching CSI. ^^; *runs off to the kitchen*

And?

After the EEE25 exam, I strolled around the mall for a bit. I found some books that I want to buy and a couple of cute things along the way. (Including the cute kitty cat at the petshop window. :D)

I had ice cream for lunch, oh yes... ICE CREAM! ^___^ It was good! The only rant would be that the guy that was taking my order didn't pay attention. >_<;

Anyway, I fell asleep when I got home. I felt so tired physically and mentally. My parents left me alone in the house because they had to go to a household meeting. And my brother is with Mitch. So I locked all the doors and went to bed. I woke up when Mom came into my room, asking me if I'm going to eat dinner. :P

Oh yeah, my cousin came last night. She brought a few of her stuff from the boarding house because they're moving to another place. She invited me to go with her and her officemates to Batangas on March 26-27. It's her birthday celebration and they're going to a resort. :) I want to go~~~! If I don't have any exam on the 26th or on the 28th... then I'm going! ;)

Since the group bloggie is down: Chess peeps! Who wants to watch "Finding Neverland"? Or "Spongebob Squarepants: The Movie"? Or "Robots"? I want to watch them all! ^_^ Tell me when you're free and we'll set up a plan. :)

Oh yes... the crybaby strikes again! ^^

WARNING: Spoilers for "Anne of Green Gables" ahead, read at your own risk!

I've always wanted to finish reading the book and now I finally did it. I've seen some episodes when they aired it on GMA7 so I kind-of knew some things. I really enjoyed the book, especially the parts where Anne gets herself into trouble. *chuckles* Reminds me of my own experiences. :P

Anyway, I was crying on my pillow this afternoon when I read the part where Matthew died. T_T It was so sad! I was secretly wishing that he wouldn't die (because I know he died in the show and I saw the titles of the chapters - that one chapter caught my eye "The Reaper whose name is Death"). I was crying as if Matthew was my own uncle, I'm not sure how to explain it but I felt like I was really part of the story (Mom and Kuya saw me crying my heart out and they were quite puzzled at first, I just told them that "Matthew died." and they just smiled - erm.. and I think I heard them laughing outside my room. >_<;;) . At first I didn't want Anne to give up her scholarship because she worked really hard for that, but then again I want her to spend as much time as she can with Marilla... now that Matthew is gone. So I guess, I understood that what she did was for the best. :)

I love the last thing that Anne said in the book. I think I've heard it from an anime or a manga, although I'm not really sure. ^^; It goes like this, "God is in his heaven and all is right with the world." Nice thought, eh? ;)

Uncanny...

If ever there was a time to be grateful, now would be it. I'm very grateful to have such loving friends and I wouldn't think otherwise. I've been lied to, decieved and made a fool in the past, but right now.. I'm so happy to be trusted and to feel important. :)

I won't lie, it kinda hurt... but the overwhelming joy I felt because I have such considerate friends more than made up for it. I'm sure my feelings will pass quickly... ;)

Thank God for giving me such a nice set of college friends. And to tell the truth, I felt unlucky in my first year in college because I thought I'd never fit in and I won't finds friends like those I had in high school. I even thought of changing block sections, so that I would be able to be with my HS friends. (They're in G20.) But God works in mysterious ways, and frankly, I couldn't be happier to be part of G19. :P

Ika nga ng McDo, "Love ko 'to." :D
