Oh yes... the crybaby strikes again! ^^

I've always wanted to finish reading the book and now I finally did it. I've seen some episodes when they aired it on GMA7 so I kind-of knew some things. I really enjoyed the book, especially the parts where Anne gets herself into trouble. *chuckles* Reminds me of my own experiences. :P

Anyway, I was crying on my pillow this afternoon when I read the part where Matthew died. T_T It was so sad! I was secretly wishing that he wouldn't die (because I know he died in the show and I saw the titles of the chapters - that one chapter caught my eye "The Reaper whose name is Death"). I was crying as if Matthew was my own uncle, I'm not sure how to explain it but I felt like I was really part of the story (Mom and Kuya saw me crying my heart out and they were quite puzzled at first, I just told them that "Matthew died." and they just smiled - erm.. and I think I heard them laughing outside my room. >_<;;) . At first I didn't want Anne to give up her scholarship because she worked really hard for that, but then again I want her to spend as much time as she can with Marilla... now that Matthew is gone. So I guess, I understood that what she did was for the best. :)

I love the last thing that Anne said in the book. I think I've heard it from an anime or a manga, although I'm not really sure. ^^; It goes like this, "God is in his heaven and all is right with the world." Nice thought, eh? ;)
