Knowledge power.

My parents have always been a fan of that radio show. When I was a kid, we'd gather around the radio and listen together for the trivias and questions that were discussed there. It was a bonding thing. One of my childhood memories that I've always treasured. And that's all there is to it. A memory... we'll never get to listen to those little tidbits for our minds, or that oh-so-familliar announcer...

Ernie Baron died yesterday, January 23, 2006.

I've always admired his incredible mind, because of him I was encouraged to actually read the encyclopedia for fun. I liked it when he gives the weather report because he has a trivia portion afterwards. I also admired him because he liked helping people out, he has numerous methods that were herbal and effective in a lot of sickness. We even bought his pyramid hat. I think I got smarter because of that. :P

May his soul rest in peace...

Jason Mraz in Manila!

*shrieks*

I have waited years for this moment to come. Now that he's finally here, I've got exams... Nooooooo!!! >_< Life can be so unfair... T_T

Bleh... I still have a headache from yesterday's exams. They were terribly hard.... @_@

Right now, I have to prepare for more exams and reports... =_=

I want a break... ;_;

I'm a happy camper... :D

My mom's back, although her condition got a bit worse (dunno how that happened... maybe she was stressed because she worried about us?) and I finally realized that I don't have a Physics exam on Saturday! Which means it's three exams minus one... Yay! :)

I'm still feeling stressed out because I've got tons (and literally TONS) of readings to do and problems to solve. It's hard to cram them all in the remaining days especially when I haven't had a decent sleep... >_<

So yeah, ACLE on Thursday. I have an exam on Thursday afternoon... don't know if it will be moved or what. But I'll prepare for it, just in case. ;)

Bleh.. I want to read manga right now but the downloading site keeps hanging up on me. Is this some kind of cosmic intervention? Is it saying I should concentrate on other aspects of my life (especially in studying)? O_o;

And I'm officially missing you...

My mom has been gone for three days. I really, really, really, really, really miss her... *bawls* I thought she'd be home today but she called last night to tell me that she'd probably home on Tuesday. Of course I nonchalantly said, "Sure, go ahead. Enjoy yourself." But my head was spinning around, screaming "No!!! You promised you'd be back today... come home!" T_T

I just didn't want to ruin her vacation. She needs it. But I can't replace her, especially when it comes to keeping the house clean. She's so OC about it. Bleh... I tried but I can't do it.

Yesterday was supposed to be laundry day. I usually just help out with loading the washing machine, the drier and rinsing the clothes. My mom is very particular about the washing the clothes so she always insists that I handwash them. Anyway, I did the laundry as was scheduled... and oh boy, did I get myself into some trouble. I was doing the laundry from 11am to 6pm with a 30-minute break around 3pm. And I handwashed all of them. >_<

When I finished all the laundry, I brushed the front entrance and cleaned all the dog poop. When everything was done, I was so tired and my hands had blisters all over. My joints ached and I couldn't move my arms because of the pain. When I reached for Alaxan or any other pain reliever, I couldn't find any. :( I had to go out and buy one from the store. Then when I tried to sleep, I couldn't sleep because my arms hurt so much. I just cried myself to sleep. T_T

I want my mommy home~!!! *cries*

Should have...

... posted about my trip to Bataan last week but was too exhausted from everything.

... said something about the shopping weekend but was too tired from walking.

... talked about my school stuff and surprises for the past few days but I'm feeling too lazy.

Anyway, no need to cry over spilled milk... or in this case, unspilled milk. :P I can still post about those, right? ;)

~*~*~*~

Overheard conversation in a UP-Pantranco jeep:

The other girls were trying to persuade a guy to pay the fare of the girl he likes.
Guy: "Ang materialistic nyo naman!"
Other Girl: "Anong materialistic? Sabihin mo kuripot ka lang!"

LOL

~*~*~*~

I took a lot of pictures of Bataan. I love the sea, it's so pretty. :D

I also had the sudden urge to buy a green mango yesterday, unfortunately I can no longer eat it. >_<; I also bought ice cream and isaw from Balay Kalinaw. The isaw wasn't as good as I thought it would be, but the vinegar was really sweet and tasty. I ate the ice cream at home... mm... creamy. :9

Geh... I'm going to sleep. I have plans for the afternoon. ;)

First trip!

We're going to Marivelles, Bataan in a few hours. My Dad is going to be there and my Mom is getting stressed looking for stuff to bring. Right now I'm converting videos and burning them on CDs so he could watch it. Converting files is so... slow. -_-

It's my first time to go to Bataan! First trip of the year! XD

When I get back, I still have reports to finish. >_< Gahh... more vacation days, please?

Is it true that public schools don't have classes until January 4? Is UP included?

Anyway, I'm not going to school today. I hope nobody gives a quiz! ~_~

*Boom!* *Fsshhhhhhhh!* *Clacliclaclap!*

Oh yes, sound effects of the fireworks outside. :P

I love fireworks during New Year's Eve. It's the one time when everyone really spends a lot for all the beautiful lights in the sky. So pretty. Amazing. Wonderful. Fantabulous. XD

And of course, I love the food. A lot of our neighbors gave us food. We gave them salads in return. :P I'm so full! :9

So yeah! Happy New Year everyone~! :)
