Treated like royalty...
When we went to Taal View Heights last weekend, everyone treated us like royalty. Kuya Butch told the helpers that we're visitors of Sir RJ Ledesma (the owner). It felt so good to have people waiting for your every whim. XD
But we didn't act like spoiled rich kids. We never forgot to say please and thank you. ;)
Kuya Butch picked us around 8am from Netopia infront of Dusit Hotel and then we parked for a while at the Equitable PCI Bank - Pasay Road Branch while we waited for Chrissa to arrive. She finally came at 8:32am and off we went. We were so noisy inside the SUV, we can't help it... we were all excited! :D
We stopped when we got near Taal Lake because the view was so pretty from the roadside so we went out to take videos and pictures. After that we went to Taal Yacht Club to get more clips and photos. Then we went to Taal View Heights.
When we got there, we were brought to the view deck where you can see the whole Taal Volcano and the scenery was breathtaking. We rested a bit and drank some coconut juice (straight from the coconuts). Then we went back to the SUV to go to our rooms. Kuya Butch pointed to us the location of the restaurant, badminton court, horseback riding place and our rooms. And then he said we have our own private pool. My eyes were ready to pop out when I saw the pool! It was beautiful and clean! Wow! How lucky can we get?
We decided to have lunch when we got settled. We didn't have to pay for any meal because it was part of the prize. Lunch was delish! Ms. Irene was our waitress and she was so nice. I was delighted to have Halo-halo for dessert. Hehe.. We rested for a bit after lunch then we played badminton. Nyaha.. Chrissa and I won when we played against Ivy and Nikki. :p
Then Ivy and Phin played some more while Nikki and Chrissa went swimming. I got my wallet and went back to the badminton court in case Ivy and Phin needed to buy drinks, but it so happened that the water was free so I went back and changed into my swimsuit. But I didn't go out until around 4:30pm, I rested inside the room until I felt like swimming. I swam until 6pm and then rested on the lounge chairs beside the pool while Phin and I waited for the bathrooms to be free. We were able to teach Phin some basics in swimming. Yay!
We wondered if we could get snacks because it wasn't in the itinerary, but it turns out we could have had snacks that afternoon. Oh well... we ordered our midnight snacks while were were having dinner and we took it to our rooms. We played cards outside for a while but it started to drizzle so we went to our rooms and played there. When the light rain stopped and we got bored of playing cards we went outside and talked until we were sleepy. We all slept in one room (even though there were two rooms).
I woke up around 4am because my feet were cold and I wore my socks and went back to sleep. Then I woke up again when Chrissa asked us to go jogging. I got up, brushed my teeth, put on my rubber shoes and went outside to stretch. Chrissa was so perky while Nikki and I tried to keep up with her. We jogged around and saw some houses. There were uphill and downhill roads, while Nikki and I were struggling to jog Chrissa kept cheering us. Then after one round we went back to our rooms. Phin was wide awake when we got back but Ivy was still covered with a blanket and refused to get up... until we said we were having breakfast.
Breakfast was good. Mmmm... :9 Then we went back, braided our hair - but my hair can't be braided because it's too fine and smooth. Ivy and Phin gave up after trying it over and over. Then we made silly videos in night shot mode. Haha! XD
We went horseback riding when the rain stopped. My first horse was 1 and I was so scared of falling off that I held onto the handle for dear life. I got the hang of it after a while. Then we had lunch and Ivy, Phin and I went back to the horses and tried it again. It was so much fun! I want to learn how to ride a horse by myself! ;) The horses were tame and I liked how smooth their hair was. Pretty horsies... :D
We played billiards with Chrissa and Nikki after our horse ride. Around 2pm we asked Ms. Shirley that we'll go home around 4pm. Then we packed our things and Kuya Butch drove us back to Manila.
I felt really sad leaving that place. It's nice to feel pampered once in a while. ;)
