I got lucky yesterday. ^_^

I was just passing the Skyinternet booth at the 3rd floor of the engineering building when a guy (erm.. a gay? XD) asked me if I wanted anything. I was actually interested in their offer of unlimited internet for P 499 so I asked for a flyer. But he actually gave me more than that. O_O Then his supervisor (the marketing person) approached me and she told me about their DSL offer, how low the price is and their new promo with free Wifi. I was surprised, but I was really interested so I asked if I had to pay for another modem if I got the DSL, they said that it was free. My reaction was... HUH? You sure about that? O_O

Anyway, I was about to go home that time so I thanked them and then the girl (I should really stop saying girl, but... I can't remember her name! >_<) said that I should stop by later that morning because they haven't finished setting up their booth. When I said that I was already going home, she got out a sheet of contact list and asked me to write my name there and she let me pick a prize. I got the biggest prize ever (and I was their first client). Well, it wasn't much, but still... it was a prize! I felt really, really lucky. ^__________^

My mind changed when I got home though. I was really convinced we should have DSL but on the way home, I was debating with myself if it was really necessary. Sure, I'd like to have faster internet connection at half the price and get some real sleep during the mornings but then again I'll probably go crazy with the DSL and completely neglect my studies and focus on downloading. So there... in the end, I've decided that I could live with having a dial up connection. It doesn't matter if it's slow, as long as I still get what I want. ^_^

Although I'd really like a WiFi card right now... :D Must abuse... erm... I meant use, the universities facilities. XD I should remember to ask Dad to buy one when he goes back to Cali. :P Would you believe he scored a cute laptop for a good price? Nyaaa!!! I wanna see it... T_T

Yay for techie daddies! XD
