Whee….. ^^

I woke up this morning to hear my cellphone ringing. (that rhymes…^^) Tin was calling, since I asked her to wake me up to get to school early. Although I do not have any classes, I went to school because I am a volunteer for the National ECE Conference at UP. (my organization volunteered me…^^;;) I got there while it was raining, about 9am (Tin told me to come at 7am.. oh well..) and Mam Tata(I think this is her name…) told me to be the one to usher the guests using my umbrella towards the building. After the registration, there was a break and we were asked to guard over the refreshments (we have to refill them if they are all gone). Then after the break we went to the VLC to see those presentations. Actually all the presentations were great, there were some technical terms that I couldn’t understand but those inventions were cool! I was the one in charge of the door (I opened and closed it for the everyone) since it was really noisy if the door was closed abruptly. It was tiring but hey, I volunteered for it.. I mean THEY volunteered me for it..^^ I even got to usher some people during the presentation! (I ushered them to the center seats, while someone was saying his defense!) After the presentations was the lunch break, we escorted the “Special Guests” to the rooftop since their food was over there. (Those guests were “big-time”… guys from Intel, Moscom, etc.) The teachers were pretty nice too. One more thing. I saw Jeff again! Its so nice to see him and to talk with him, since we haven’t had a chance to talk with him again because of so much school stuff. It was kind of a surprise for me because he’s one of the presentors but he will be presenting his stuff on Friday, the time I won’t be an usherette anymore... I hope he’ll do well.. Ah, I missed him..^^

After escorting the special guests, we went home… Actually I was the one who went home, my friends had a volleyball tournament at about 2pm. So I’m here at home, I should start reading my book in electromagnetics but… I guess I’ll do that later..(look at me, procrastinating again… ^^;;)
