Tips.
If you want to be the best in this business, stick with the master and not the student.
I learned that the hard way. Since I'm a newbie I didn't know who to go with at first. I kept listening to one person thinking that she knows a lot. Turns out she was the student. =_=
Although she is friendly, I don't like her work ethics. She doesn't submit her work on-time and advises me to do the same (and I hate submitting work after the deadline). She doesn't have the proper timing when asking questions. There's so much work to do but she's just there and playing Plants vs Zombies. She keeps on babysitting me when I really don't need that, I just want her to tell me what to do and help me along the way when I'm having a hard time figuring it out. And she goes home even if there is a lot to do. Even a newbie like me has to stay after work just to finish it but she doesn't.
It is infuriating. >_<
Thankfully I know better now.
I'm sticking with the REAL master.
But the master is leaving soon. I only had a few days with her this week. Its not enough because there's so much to learn. Best advice she could give me? Practice and READ A LOT. She studied on her own, so she advises me to do the same.
I'm scared and excited at the same time. Scared because they have high expectations for me. Excited because its such a challenge to meet those expectations.
I'm going to miss my guru. She's inspirational.
I want to surpass my guru, to be the best in this business.
So please pray for my success. :)

wow that's a good mindset to have. it's surprisingly rare at time to find people who would make the effort to learn things and instead want to be spoon fed.
God bless sa pag-aaral kaya yan! ^w^V
