One word to describe the Puerto Galera trip: BITIN!!!

I loved every minute of it! I was super hyped to get there... Although I got a little worried when they were asking me to bring food and lots of moolah. A thousand things were running through my head, if they were eating right or if they have enough money for the place, etcetera... >_<

I was so relieved to see they were all good and enjoying the beach when I got there. (All that worrying for nothing?! >_<) I got a bit scolded because I said I'll just surprise them when I get there. And yay for me for making it to the ferry! I thought I wouldn't be able to ride it if I was later than 4:30pm and I got to the pier around 4:45pm. Good thing there were ferry rides up to 6pm. Yay! And the porter I talked to was really nice, he told me how to get there... I fell asleep on the way to Puerto Galera. It wasn't a comfortable ride, but I was tired... and I woke up at 2am that morning so I really needed the sleep.

I got there around 6:30pm, found my friends in less than 5 minutes. Hehe..

We bought a few goodies, went to Talipanan (where they wanted to stay) and helped cook our dinner. Then after dinner and taking a refreshing bath, we went outside where they had a drinking game. I didn't join in the game, not really an alcoholic lover. ^^;

We stayed up and watched the stars up to 1:30pm. I found two shooting stars! Sadly wasn't able to wish.. gah! >< Anyway, I fell asleep as soon as we went back to the cottage. I woke up around 5am because of lots of mosquito bites.. ack! I completely forgot to put some Off lotion. My poor arms and feet. T_T

Since I was already awake, I ate a few crackers and waited for the dawn. I tried taking pictures, but the mountain was blocking the view of the sunrise.. :(

When I got back I woke everyone up and cooked some hotdogs for breakfast. We had hotdogs, bread and cheese for breakfast. :P Then we all geared up to swim in the nearby waterfalls. Little did we know that the way to the waterfalls was quite an adventure! Our hiking and rock climbing skills were tested... and we all went there wearing flip flops (as the foreigner put it). But the waterfalls was pretty! I swam and swam until I got tired of swimming and just stayed under one of the roots of the trees. The water was clear and cold when we got there... it got blurry when we went in. Hehehe... XD It was also a big adventure trying to go back, so steep. O_O

Then we had lunch at the cottage, the view was beautiful and we had the whole place to ourselves. Mm... yay! :D I fell asleep after lunch, and then went para-sailing! I have never done anything death defying in my entire life. I loved the whole experience! It was soooooooooooooooo much fun! I was flying! XD

Anyway, I had little time to look for souvenirs because we had to pack our bags and go back to the ferry. How sad... I wanted to get a few souvenirs for my cousins and my parents. :(

It was a sleepy ride back to Batangas port. I was so sleepy because I only had 3 hours of sleep. Plus the fact that I always fall asleep in ferry rides, bus rides, mm... almost all rides... XD

I went back to Laguna to grab my stuff and then went home. I got home around 11pm so I didn't notice this one important thing...

Eugene, our dog for 11 years and 10 months, died last Tuesday due to heatstroke.

I was so tired last night so I didn't have time to look at my doggies, so I immediately went to sleep when I got home. I woke up around 6:30am and started looking for him. Sadly, they told me that he had a blank stare on Tuesday morning and then he just plopped down in the afternoon. When they were sure he was dead, and the other dogs were barking because he was no longer moving, they paid a passing bottle dealer (magbobote) Php 40 to take him away because we had no space to bury him here. I got a bit mad at this part, I wanted him buried here... T_T

I've been crying since this morning, especially when I was outside and I found his dish, looked at his favorite spot and his collar. TT_TT I miss him sooooo much! I can't believe I didn't spend much time last week because I was rushing to go back to Laguna. He was barking at me when I was leaving... I didn't know that was the last time I'll see him and hear him and touch him. You see, he usually stays calm when I leave the house, last time he barked at me like that was when I left the house was when I was still in first year high school. Since then, he didn't bother barking at me when I leave.. he just stays quiet. Well, most of the time... But last week, he was barking like he was trying to tell me something. I can't believe he was already saying goodbye.. I even told him I'll see him next weekend. *cries*

I even had a "happy dream" last Thursday. I dreamt about all the dogs we had and went to doggie heaven. I was collecting them and I was really happy to see them all... REALLY HAPPY... I just can't grasp the idea that I was dreaming about that because he was gone. It was like.. he wanted to say something. I think he was in that dream. I didn't see Luke or Aragorn, at least I don't think I saw them.

It hurts. I want to see him again. I want to say goodbye and hug him and tell him I love him so much. I want to see him running freely and playing with me and catching the tennis ball with his mouth and giving it back. He was a good dog, he was always alert and ready. I really really want to see him. I wish I could. T_T

Eugene, you will always have a place in my heart. I hope you're happy in doggie heaven and I wish you had fun while you were with me. I love you so much...
