No aircon needed! XD

I've been away from home for 2 days and one night. I went to Tagaytay with ERGmates last Friday. It was a welcome break, after struggling for a year in the wastelands of Eng'g (lol.. how much Warcraft-y can you get?). We got to the resthouse around lunch time and we quickly looked for a room (we got the room on the first floor beside the rooms for the guys, all the other girls were on the next level ^^;).

The first day was tiring. x_X When we got there, we started making lunch... whee... I got teary-eyed because I chopped onions. ^^; Then we rested for a bit before trekking.

Whoever said that trekking to the crater of Taal Volcano would only take 5 minutes should be strangled. >_< It took us more than an hour in the hot sun (though the wind was cold) to get to the top. We were exhausted, covered in dirt and extremely thirsty when we got there. We left our bags, wallets, cellphones, etc. behind because they said we wouldn't need it. Huff! Although view was worth the trip. ^_~ When we got back many wanted to go to the rest house, so we weren't able to go swimming since the vehicles we rented must go together (in case of an emergency). I was a bit disappointed but they said we may be able to swim the next day. So I went with the flow...

When we got home, I got dibs to be the first one to take a bath. Yay! I was itching to get all of the dirt off of me. ^^ Well, the water went from clear to chocolate brown when I took a bath. Yeah.. it's that terrible. Bleh... I made sure I was super clean after the bath. It felt so good! ^___^ Anyway, I watched the usual telebabad stuff when I finished. :) Then we had dinner - milkfish, tomatoes, eggplant, etc. - I got the bangus belly! Lol! But I only took half of it, I know someone who likes that part too. :D

After dinner and the telebabad, I saw Nas sleeping comfortably at the side of the bed while Ivy, Tin, and Mark were playing with the jumbo cards. I joined them after brushing my teeth and we played professional tong-its. With Nas eating the whole hotdog sandwich while she was half-asleep. :P When we got tired of that, Ivy asked me to play Twister with the others. Well, I think I said yes but I fell asleep beside Nas. ^^;

I woke up around 3am because the cold wind was gushing straight to my aching feet. It felt like my joints were freezing. Gehh... so I closed the door. EJ was beside at that time and Ivy was beside him. Then I got my towel and placed it over my legs (I was wearing pajamas but my feet were as cold as ice... ^^;). I went back to bed. Then I woke up around 4am in the morning because the door was open again, I think this was the time EJ got up. ^^; I closed it and then I noticed the blanket that Nas was sleeping on. It was the blanket for the whole bed! Ack! I took it and placed it over Ivy, Nas and me. :) We finally have a blanket. :D Then I woke up around 6am because Geof lied down beside Ivy. This time I couldn't sleep anymore so I just got up and ate some bread. A couple of INT were up because they were preparing the breakfast. Oh.. and I woke up Tin who was sleeping on a chair (eventhough I know how annoyed she gets when someone wakes her up ^^;). I got worried that she might get a stiff neck in her position so I told her to go to the room and sleep on my spot. ^^

It's cold in Tagaytay in the morning. It felt like the whole house had centralized air-conditioning. XD I already was wearing a shirt, jacket, pajama and socks but when I went outside, I was still cold! Brr!

Around 9am, when Geof got up, I went in his place and fell asleep. I got up around 10am when it was time to fix things, eat lunch and get ready to go to Picnic Grove. (Yeah.. the swimming part didn't push through but this time I was totally fine with it because I was expecting I'd be able to swim in Eugene's condo.) Anyway, after lunch we gathered our stuff and then went to Picnic Grove. That place really has a good view of the volcano. We even saw the path we took when we went to the top. ^^; There were games but I mostly had fun taking pictures of the breathtaking view. ^_~

Then it was time to leave. We were heading to Eugene's birthday bash. On the way, I learned that we wouldn't be able to use the pool. To say that I was disappointed is an understatement. I was really looking forward to swimming. Plus the fact that I wasn't able to use my new suit after scouring the store to look for that. T_T

Oh well... things happen. We had fun singing with their magic sing. I think my sadness was reflected in my scores, they were too low. ^^; I took a cab and dropped Ivy off at her place. I was super tired but super happy when I got home. :)
