Family gatherings are fun... if you're comfortable with them.

Honestly, I'm not really close with my relatives on my father's side. I try... but hey, I really don't feel comfortable with them. Whenever I say a comment, all I get are stares. No other reaction. I don't know if I said something wrong or if I did anything wrong.

Or maybe I'm just worrying too much.

Good thing one of my cousins from my mother's side came too. Finally, someone who CAN relate. At least I could talk to her without worrying if I did anything wrong, because even if I did she'd tell me. She wont give me that look (which my other cousins do) as if I was an alien that suddenly came on earth.

Maybe going out with my father's relatives is a bad idea. I enjoyed the card games and swimming, sure, but all-in-all I don't get that family feeling from them.
