Merry Christmas! Hohoho... :P

I felt like Santa during Christmas day while giving gifts to my god-children. I definitely enjoyed capturing the funny moments. All my cute nephews, nieces and grandchildren (Oh yes.. the horror... I'm a young grandma) were so game to pose for the camera. ;)

Good thing that I was okay during Christmas, because last December 23 I had a fever. It went down the next day but it came back to haunt me today. :(

I wasn't even able to go to mass. I was really hoping to hear the mass with my nephew and niece and then strolling in Market Market as soon as I'm finished with my volunteer work. But noooooooo... I'm down with a runny nose, tonsilitis and coughing like crazy every few minutes. I blame Manila Bay. Why? Because I couldn't say "No" to the cute kids asking me to come with them to SM Mall of Asia. (You try doing that.. I'm telling you, "No" is not an option to them. @_@)

Ate Amphie was going to meet Ate Grace (a long lost friend) and her kids there. So I went to MoA and woah! There was this pretty nifty place near the Manila Bay where a playground and lots of food stalls stood. It was really nice. Anyway, long story short... I ended up baby-sitting three kids. It took a whole lot of energy to play with them. We played "Simon says...", "The boat is sinking..." and "Agawan base". I had to entertain them for 3 hours... really long bonding time for Ate Amphie and Ate Grace. By 11:30pm we finally found them hanging out at one of the bars and listening to old songs. I was soooooo tired. I barely had any energy left but the kids were chanting "playground!" so off we went. Around midnight they finally decided to leave, but Angelica and Mikaela (Ate Grace's kids) were poking me and clutching my arms, asking to play with me. @_@ Er... am I some sort of toy? Anyway we chased each other as we walked to the jeepney stop. I like those kids, they were so friendly and active. Maybe if I was feeling a bit better we could have stayed longer. :)

By the time I came home, I felt like my throat was burning. But I couldn't sleep because Kuya Edu came and we were bonding over stuff at the province and stuff at his shop. By the time I went to sleep, I kept waking up every 30 minutes because my throat was super itchy and I was coughing so much. It was very, very hard to sleep. :(

So here I am, sitting in front of the laptop. My cousin bought me dalandan to help fight the sickness. My boss wants me to report at work tomorrow. And the kids want to play.

I just want to sleep, sleep, sleep. :D

Ooooff... and Kuya is home! Yaaaay! My present was a bag of Kitkat. Yum! :9
