Goodnight Barrett...
Barrett is the blue parakeet that we captured while he was flying around house. We kind-of think he was here because he wants to visit Birdie, our green parakeet.
This morning, the birds were noisy but we were about to leave so I didn't really take any notice. Little did I know that it was the last time I'd see Barrett alive. We got home a few minutes ago and I saw Barrett just lying down on the cage, I was quite alarmed and I called my mom. I feared for the worst. I thought they didn't have enough food but there were still a lot of bird seeds. Then I noticed the bite marks on Barrett's neck. He was murdered! T_T
Barrett was a hyperactive little bird. He loves fluttering around the cage and singing. He has this white stripe in his neck, white with black spots on his head, and he looks so cute. He doesn't like me touching him (even though he's so soft!) but at times when I feel down, he cheers me up by chirping a lot.
I'm going to miss him. :(
