Modus Operandi...

I just got a SMS that read like this:

"CONGRATS!!! ur one of the lucky winner of 1000 peso load.To claim ur load,just type 09102908123 then send to 808.Enjoy ur load!Fr0m SMART"simply amazing..tnx u"

This is most definitely a HOAX! There are a lot of errors in this message and let me enumerate them.

1. SMART rarely uses a prepaid number when they send notices. I know because they send me a LOT of notices and the sender is usually "SMART" or "211" or someother short number.

2. I know that 808 is the number for Pasaload, and that sending a message with a number would transfer part of my prepaid load to his.

3. A LOT of grammatical errors. See if you can point them all out. :P

I'm planning to go to SMART Wireless Center and report this. I don't know if I should notify NTC though.

I posted it here so that you guys would have an idea, just in case it happens to you too.

My exam for today is moved to wednesday next week! Yay! ^___^ Now I can concentrate on the upcoming exam on Sunday and that is Chemistry, it is so.. bleh. :P
